Christ Is Our Helper

Let us understand how Satan seeks to draw our minds away from the mighty Helper that we have in Christ. Satan seeks to lead us to ponder over our sins, faults, deformity in character, our iniquities and all of our weaknesses. I know how it causes discouragement as that is Satan’s studied object. Understand dear family, Jesus sees the guilt of our past and what we have done even if it was but a moment ago, He speaks pardon to us through His life sermon and works that He displayed that is found in the beautiful Bible; and we should not dishonor Him by doubting His love for us and the truth He gives to us and just know and understand how Christ says; “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

Isaiah 1:18 -Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Let the feeling of guilt be laid at the foot of the cross forever, because the debt has been paid in full when we comply with what is required of us in confession and repentance and asking for forgiveness, or it will poison the springs of life that are given from Christ. He loves us all and wants us in His kingdom where he is building an eternal home.

John 14:2, 3 -In my Father’s house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also.

When Satan thrusts his threatenings upon you, his accusations upon you for what you have done, then turn from them, and comfort your soul with the promises of God and remind yourself that Christ has pardoned your sins once you have confessed, asked for forgiveness and repented.

1 John 1:9 -If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The dark cloud may be dark in itself as Satan is, but when filled with the light of heaven, it turns to the brightness of gold that is strong enough to light up the world; for the glory of God rests upon it.

And seeing that we are God’s children we need to also understand that we are not to be subject to feelings and emotions. When we are on the ground of fluctuating between hope and fear, the heart of Christ is hurt; for He has given us all unmistakable evidence of His love and there should be no dark cloud that is allowed to be placed over what Christ has done! When we stop with the black cloud stuff and allowing Satan to bring us down when we should be singing praises of Joy; all of us we see a life spring forth in us that will bring the divine character more so in our life than ever before.

Christ’s love for each and every one of us is as tender as it is strong. And it is stronger than the sting and power of death; for Christ died to purchase our salvation through Him, and to make us one with Him and the Father and the Holy Ghost and the angels that are working as well in our behalf. We should understand how we are a part of the heavenly family that longs for us to be in heaven.

Luke 15:7 -I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

So strong is the love of Christ that it controls all His powers, and employs the vast resources of the heavens in doing His people a wonderful good.

Matthew 7:11 -If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Christ’s love for us is without variableness or a shadow of turning, it is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Malachi 3:6 -For I [am] the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

If we claim to know how much Christ loves us then let us believe it and understand it and reflect it to the world. Christ has done a wonderful thing for everyone. He has prepared the way for all who will obey Him to make it to heaven. Let us take His hand and march into His everlasting kingdom that is coming.
