The Truth About Hell Fire

The Truth About Hell Fire

1 Timothy 4:1 – Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

In these last days there are so many false doctrines going around about every subject. The world has clearly been led astray by the “seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils”. In all walks of life, in all the false religions that are out there today, most have fallen for the lies. We will look at the Biblical facts regarding hellfire.

First, we must understand that the king James Bible is the source of our faith, it is the light that makes our path straight and it is the guide to all truths. Psalms 119:105 – NUN. Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.  So, if we want to know about hellfire we must go to the Word of God, which explains it clearly.

Secondly, there are evil forces in the world today who are seeking to deceive the world from understanding the way to true enlightenment. The enemy of souls and his host of fallen angels need us to be led astray from the truth so their work in deceiving the masses will be simple. They have created hundreds of thousands of books in the world to bring the world to a dark place of confusion. There is a trap in every corner that waits everyone to have a mind filled with lies. Take a look at this passage and see how we are not to be tossed to and fro by the works of Satan and his professed ministers…

The Bible says, “That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”. Ephesians 4:14.

We have got to understand truth the way it is written in the Bible. We cannot allow the world and her false teachers, preachers, ministers, deacons or any other false religion that has been established to take us to the land of confusion. We were clearly warned by the Author of the Bible that the world would be a place of great temptations, smooth preaching, liars, money hungry, soul destroying speakers that Satan would establish in order to destroy the human race and all that God loves. “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” – Matthew 24:24.

Furthermore, Satan and his hosts have been saying from the time of Eden that “Ye shall not surely die”. Clearly Satan has been exposed as the father of lies (John 8:44) because as we look around us, everything in this world is dying now because of “one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned;”. – Romans 5:12.

So, Satan is a liar! He was a lair to our first parents in the garden and is doing it till this day. The world has fallen for his lies. This is why the world is so confused today. They have rejected simple Bible truths and turned to fables. The world clearly loves to hear smooth things that have no light. It is an artificial light that Satan and his ministers bring to the world that make them out as some great and intelligent men and women when that is far from the truth. 2 Corinthians 11:14, 15 -And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.  Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Next, there are a few verses that we need to look at so to remove the confusion. There are a few terms that have different meanings from what the world understand and what the Bible is actually saying. Again, Satan has been instrumental in changing the true understanding of most things the Bible proclaims. Let us learn about “everlasting fire”. What does this mean in the Bible? Take a look at this following passage…

Matthew 25:41 – Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.

The ministers (priests) of Satan have ensnared billions of souls with the thought that “everlasting fire” means no end. This is not what the Bible is proclaiming. To make it clearer, the world understands this as meaning “without end”, but that is not how the Bible defines “everlasting fire”. So, how does the Bible defined “everlasting fire”? Take a look at this following passage…

Jude 1:7 – Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Sodom and Gomorrha suffered the vengeance of the “eternal fire”. If you travel to the ancient city today, or travel to that part of the world, there you will find no Sodom and Gomorrha burning anymore. The understanding of eternal fire simply means that it will burn and burn and burn until they are destroyed. It will burn for ever and ever until they are but ashes. There is no city in the world whose buildings may have caught on fire and burned down to the ground, but yet till this day they are burning. They will continue to burn until they are ashes and there is nothing left to fuel the fire. For further Biblical proof take a look at the following passage…

2 Peter 2:6 – And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned [them] with an overthrow, making [them] an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

The Word of God says that they were turned into ashes and that they are no longer “weeping and gnashing of teeth.” – Matthew 25.

Take a look at some more verses where Satan and his ministers love to twist Scripture to deceive…

Revelation14:11 – And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

This passage in Revelation is favored by millions of Satan’s preachers where they try to prove hell is eternal punishing. Before proving what this verse is really exclaiming, we need to find out what the term “for ever” actually means to God when He says this. First let us understand, God Almighty is an ETERNAL God and we, are a MORTAL people. When looking to Isaiah 34 you will see that the same language is used to describe the fate of Edom in the following passage…

Isaiah 34:9, 10 – And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch. It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up forever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

The looking into the poetic language of Revelation, it is the same as the Prophet Isaiah. Yet, is Edom still burning today with Sodom? Not at all, but for those that were burned in that fire where they were being pushed and destroyed, it burned them forever until they were all ashes. They never got up again till this day! They all saw it burn as long as they lived, and it lasted FOR EVER for them. And then now their destruction IS going to be forever!

When we look into the Scriptures and see where it talks about eternal burining hell, we can see how Jesus had said in Matthew 25:46 that hell is eternal punishment and not and unending eternity of burning. He meant exactly what He stated, that it is EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION just as we find in the next passage…

2 Thessalonians 1:9 – Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

The punishment is indeed everlasting where they will burn for ever and ever until they are dead and ashes are their remains. This is the “second death” (Revelation 2:11; 20:6,14; & 21:8) The second death is a death that no one will EVER rise from again. Nahum 1:9 – What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.

Furthermore, to make things more clear, when someone is burned to be cremated, what happens to them? They burn and burn till they are ashes. Same thing will happen in hell fire when God burns them. The purpose is to destroy them forever because they have rejected the path to eternal life.

When you take a look at what happened with 9/11, we can clearly see that those buildings and people burned forever and ever until they were destroyed and ashes. The language of the Bible and the language of the world is very different in many cases as you have just found. But the wonderful thing about the Bible is how the Word of God defines exactly what it means so you can understand what it is saying. “Everlasting fire” means to burn until there is nothing left and it is destroyed. Nature proclaims this as well like when you have a camp fire. The camp fire is not going to burn always, but eventually it will go out. The logs will burn and burn for ever and ever and it shall not be quenched until it is no longer burning. Let us take a look at some more passages…

Mark 9:43-48 – And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Here we see how the Bible is saying “the worm that dieth not” in Mark chapter 9. Well, they too will not die until they run out of what it is they are chewing on to sustain their life. So as long as they liveth on flesh that is sustaining them, so it is for the fire that will not be quenched so long as there is wood to burn. In short, both “everlasting fire” and “where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched” will not die out until their work is done! To “quench” is to extinguish a fire, which the Lord will not do because the purpose of the everlasting fire and the worm that dieth not needs to finish their job until all is destroyed. Take a look at the following passage…

Isaiah 47:14 – Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: [there shall] not [be] a coal to warm at, [nor] fire to sit before it.

Here we can clearly see how the prophet Isaiah said, “they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame”! The Bible is clear regarding what the purpose of the “everlasting fire” is for, and how it will not be extinguished so to burn them all up till there is no more left of what is being burned. Take a look at another passage…

Matthew 25:46 – And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

When we look into “everlasting punishment” we can also apply the same understanding by using one verse to explain this “everlasting punishment”, which is found in Matthew 10:28 – And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. When Christ returns to earth to execute His righteous judgment on the unrepentant sinners, the devil and his angels, the Son of God will send forth and everlasting punishment that shall not be quenched until both soul and body are destroyed and there is no more fuel for the fire. When this is accomplished then they shall become ashes under our feet. When the new heaven comes down to rest on the earth after the wicked were destroyed on the surface of the earth, then the saints will walk on their ashes. Malachi 4:3 – And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do [this], saith the LORD of hosts.

The devil himself and the angels will burn in hellfire forever and ever till they are destroyed and there is nothing left as well. They will be as nothing. They and the wicked who repented not of their evil works will be destroyed with them both root and branch in hellfire, again, where they all will be ashes. See the following passage…

Ezekiel 28:17-18 – Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

And when does this take place? The entire Biblical reference is found in Revelation 20. When the 1,000 years takes place, the wicked are judged, the saints have done their work with the Lord in heaven and Satan has had time to think about all he has done while being bound on earth for that time period of 1,000 years, and then Christ will call forth the wicked to be judged to meet the second death where they will never exist again. The world rejected God, they rejected His existence and many believed that there is no life after death, so God gives it to them. They loved to sin so God gives them death eternal where they will never again partake of life. So, then in a panoramic view of their life’s work, all the unrepentant sinners will see their life flash before them and they will see their rejection of the Son of God. But in the end “all knees shall bow”. When they see how they have not made it to heaven they will be marshaled up again at Satan’s command where he will claim the same old lies that they can take the city of God even after the Bible says, “it is through Christ we must be saved”. Then the prophesied event will come to pass as it states in the following passage…

Revelation 20:9 – And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

The fire that comes from God is so powerful that it will destroy both soul and body. It will devour them till there is nothing left.

What hour does the Bible call this time period? The Bible refers to this space “the second death”. See the following passages…

Revelation 20:13-15 – And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. After sin, hell and death are cast into the lake of fire, death will never rise up again as the Bible has stated. Sin will forevermore never exist. No more tests. No more trials. No more pains. No more sorrow. No more tears. No more crying. No more unrepentant sinners. No more Satan and his angels. Everything will be made new and no more of the evil will ever have a place to call home or exist again. God’s new heaven, His new earth, and the entire universe have been cleansed. And all the reward of the angelic host of the Lord that did not fall with Satan, along with the saints of God will enjoy heavenly bliss.

Revelation 21:1-5 – And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

The world has been lied to by all these TV preachers and those that teach the same thing. They are exactly what Christ warned us about “ministers of unrighteousness/workers of Satan”. And so, with that said, the lake of fire “hell” will not take place under the earth as the world has been taught. It is a lie. Everyone is seeing the misrepresentation of the character of God through this type of preaching. This preaching is designed to have people hate God because it is cruel and unnecessary. Again, God is a God of mercy, compassion and love. He loves the sinner, but hates the sin. He will destroy all that is connected to sin so to have a clean universe. The Creator, His angels and His saints will not be sitting on a beautiful new earth and sitting in heaven enjoying the sight and sounds of souls forever and ever being tormented in endless fire. They will only be tormented by the fire that will burn for ever till they are destroyed and the second death is fulfilled. And no one on this planet should be offended of this Biblical truth how God will destroy their body and souls. God is only giving the wicked exactly what they wanted and what they decided.

In closing, the Lord Jesus says, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.  Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without [are] dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.” Revelation 22:13-15.
