A Life Time of Work

fight_satan_war_is_real.jpg

John 17:19 – And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

The righteousness by which we are justified is given to us as believers who do not deserve it; the righteousness by which we are to be sanctified by the truth is earned by our works, which is “A Life Time of Work”.

John 17:17 – Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

When we look deeper, we can gain an understanding that “justification” is our title to the kingdom of God, and “sanctification” is getting fitted for it. It is through faith and works of the law that we bear the seal of approval for that kingdom. We are freely given the chance, which we do not deserve this second chance to prove who we profess to be in Christ, but it is freely given to us to make our calling and election sure.

2 Peter 1:10 – Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Christ will not do our part in this relationship with Him. It takes two to build a relationship. Christ has proven who He is and He has demonstrated His love for us, and so, we must do the same thing. He bore the cross and He died for us, now we must bear the cross and die for Him and crucify the flesh and put away sin.

Galatians 5:24 – And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

We must work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.

Philippians 2:12 -…work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

If we strive unto perfection and allow the truth to change our lives, we will become new creatures, the old man will die and the evidence that we have put on Christ becomes visible. The reward of eternal life is granted to those who surrender their lives unto change which is a race to victory.

1 Corinthians 9:24 – Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

We must be truly born again by being sanctified through the truth. If there is no change in the professor’s life, it is evident that they are not born again.

John 3:7 – Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

As the repentant sinner approaches the cross of Calvary and sees the bloodstained, stricken Son of God on the cross because of our sins, it is there at that moment the true Christians sees what he has done to the Son of God, and with a contrite heart that is broken to pieces, the repentant falls to his knees and cries out for forgiveness. He discerns Christ’s atoning sacrifice in the sinner’s behalf, and accepts this atonement as his only hope in this life and the future life to come, as his sins are pardoned and is justified before God, which this is justification by faith.

Romans 3:28 – Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Billions have been led to believe justification is the finishing work for heaven, but the Scriptures prove it is but just one of the first steps towards becoming a Christian. The life of a Christian has more to do than just believing in what Christ has done or professing to be a child of God. Billions today claim to be a child of God and heaven bound, but their fruits do not correspond with their profession. Their works do not prove that Christ is abiding. Their works do not demonstrate that His death for our sins has crush out the desire to sin no more against the Son of God.

Matthew 15:8-9 – This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with [their] lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.

John 14:15 – If you love me, keep my commandments.

The true Christian will step into the works of sanctification. Sanctification is not the work of a moment, or an hour, nor is it found in a day, but it is a lifetime of work. It is a fight, it is a battle, where we are at war with the temptations of this world that it offers to pull us away from Christ, it is a constant struggle with the flesh when you are after the Spirit, and it is a day by day march to the city of God to be sanctified by the truth.

1 Timothy 6:12 – Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

There is no such thing as instantaneous sanctification. True sanctification is a daily work, continuing as long as life shall last. The true Christian is striving to put away the old sinful man, the old self work did the works of the flesh, which is the wicked and rebellious works of Satan that has caused this world to trample upon the Son of God’s law, which will perfectly furnish and establish a man as a Biblical saint.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 – All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Revelation 14:12 – Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

We can scripturally conclude that without the works of the law our profession is dead.

James 2:26 – For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

The true Christian is at war with sin; they see that how they have broken the law of God at every point and now they must fight and not continue to place Christ back on the cross. They see that every time they transgress the law of God they recrucify the Son of God afresh and put Him to an open shame.

Hebrews 6:6 – If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put [him] to an open shame.

When the believer sees that his sins have placed Christ on the cross, it is at that moment the professed Christian will begin the works of sanctification in turning away from their sins.

Acts 3:19 – Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

The world has been taught that all one has to do is simply believe and nothing else, but that is not what Scripture teaches. This so-called faith in Christ that exists in the world today, which professes to release everyone from their obligation of obedience to God, is not faith, but it is presumption. “By grace are ye saved through faith” (Ephesians 2:8). But “faith, if it hath not works, is dead” (James 2:17). Christ said of Himself, before He came to earth, “I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart” (Psalm 40:8). And just before He ascended again to heaven, He declared, “I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love” (John 15:10). The Scriptures conclude, “Hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments” (1 John 2:3).

1 John 2:4-6 – He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

1 Peter 2:22 – 23 – For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

Sanctification does not come through a happy flight of feelings as well, but is the result of constantly dying to sin, and constantly living for Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:31 – I die daily.

It is only by long and persevering efforts on the Christian soldier’s part that has put on the armor of God who will with stand the temptations offered. If we yield to the temptations then we once again sin against God. It is through sore discipline in the truth, and where we engage in a stern conflict, that we shall overcome this world through the power of God that He offers to all that desire to stand in the fight to be rewarded for heaven. The eternal reward comes at a price for the repentant. It came at a price for the Son of God to save us and give us a second chance to repent and it comes at a price for us to do the works of Christ in a world full of temptations to draw us back into sin. The eternal reward is given to those who have earned it, by first receiving Christ and striving to walk as He walked. Christ was perfect as we are to be.

Matthew 5:48 – Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Sanctification is not merely a theory, or some type of emotion, which a true Christian will learn to govern his or her emotions, and nor does sanctification come from lip service, but it comes by a living and visible proof that they are mirroring the image of Christ before a sinful world who has rejected Him through their unrepentant lives.

The true sanctification will be seen in all aspects of a Christian’s life. Everything a Christian does will speak for God. If we want to be true Christians, study the life of Christ and repent and do His perfect works so to present ourselves “a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God.”

Romans 12:1 – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.

If we belong to Christ and He is our King, then we must prove it with our lives here in this sinful world. Christ proved Himself to us, now we are given a chance through His works to prove ourselves to Him, which we can do if we be Christ’s.

Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

The life of Christ that is found in His Scriptures is the great agency in the transformation of godly character that will give us the seal of approval for eternal life. In order to graduate from this world and be rewarded with the next, we must pass our tests and overcome this evil world with our good works.

Romans 12:21 – Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 – And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God bless you all so much in the Lord…peace.

A Soldier For God

PART II

How about and Above all, taking the shield of faith?  What is the shield of faith? What is true faith?

A shield is the warrior’s device usually on the left arm, as a defense against swords, lances, arrows, etc. This device is a defense and protection of the warrior against the enemy.

What is faith?
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Romans 8:24-25 “For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?But if we hope for that we see not, [then] do we with patience wait for [it].”

From these two verses, we can see that faith is believing the things which are unseen, being able to look at things that are unseen, hoping for the unseen. Faith enables us to grasp the things which are unseen. We as human beings have the natural tendency to look at the things which are seen but using the eye of faith we see the things which are unseen. The man that has faith sees beyond the things that are seen. We believe in God even if we have not seen Him personally. But we know He is there because beyond what the eyes can see exist a powerful Divine God that can do everything according to His will. We know this because we have faith. Faith that believes the things not seen.

What is the importance of faith? Why do we need the shield of faith?

As a warrior’s armour, shield protects him from danger. Faith does the same thing. It enables us to stand amidst fiery trials and persecutions. If we take a look at the life of Daniel and his 3 friends we can see a tremendous amount of faith these youth have. For them, whether God is able to deliver them or not, they will not violate the commandment of God. That is true faith. Look at Abraham when he was told to offer his only son? Even if it would mean that he would lose his only son but he followed what God had commanded him. This is true shield of faith. And because of this he is called the father of the faithful. True living Faith is true obedience to God. This is our shield as warrior of God.

The professed Christian world claims they are saved by grace through faith as we can read from Ephesians 2:8, therefore they are released from their obligation or duty from keeping the law of God. But this is not faith, this is presumption. We find in James 2:17, “faith, if it hath not works, is dead”. The Word of God says, “Hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments” (1 John 2:3).So true faith brothers and sisters brings fruit of obedience. You can profess all you want but if you don’t have corresponding works, your faith is just a profession. If we have the kind of real faith that works obedience and do the Father’s will we should abide in His love and be sons and daughters of God. Amen! Strive so hard to put on the shield of faith. It is the a great step in arming yourself with the armor of God.

So moving on to the next armour, how about putting on the helmet of salvation? What is taking the helmet of salvation? What is salvation? What is the role of helmet in a warrior’s life in the battlefield?

A helmet is a part of the armor that protects the warrior’s head from attacks of the enemy. If the head is injured, most likely the warrior cannot function and do his part but eventually he will die in the battlefield. So do with our spiritual warfare. Our head must be protected against the enemy. It is in the head that we think. Our mind is in our head. If our head is poisoned with the lies of Satan then we become his captive. Because of this, God cannot deliver us from death.

What is salvation?

Salvation means deliverance from something. In the most part, salvation is deliverance from sin (justification) and deliverance into the kingdom of God (glorification).

Looking back into God’s other book the sanctuary, We should all know that there is a process, a three step process that we must take that we can find in the sanctuary services that will bring us into the final salvation unto heaven, in both the type and anti-type.  So you know, the type is where we find the works of the sanctuary service and the anti-types is where we find it in its fulfillment and its application to our daily lives while we walk on this earth. The first step that we find is justification which is in the inner court. Justification by true faith will bring us to the cross of Calvary/altar of sacrifice. True faith that the Word of God speaks of will have corresponding works that manifest obedience to the law of God. So, we are justified by faith as Romans 3:28 says.  Romans 3:28 “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.“ In short, justification is when we, by faith, accepts Christ as our Saviour by acknowledging that He died for our sins to redeem us from the bondage of sin, satan and death.

The second step in this process is sanctification. Sanctification is found in the first apartment of the sanctuary, the Holy Place. It is where we are to read the Word of God/eat of the bread of life, praying and applying it to our own lives. This is where you have the table of shew-bread. Next you have the prayers of the saints/burning of the incenses and the seven candlesticks that are continuing to burn with oil which is a fruit that the light is shinning in our lives that we are to reflect to the world. We are to be the light of the world in laboring together with God. So, Sanctification is the purification or purging out of the old self and letting Christ work in us the work of His righteousness. This is after we  have been justified through His death on the cross by going to Him in faith. This processes of sanctification is a manifesting fruit that we have fulfilled justification.

This sanctification process will work in us/bring us into the third step of glorification unto a crown a life in heaven. True and final salvation is in God who is our Saviour who will bring us into salvation free once and for all from the bondage of satan, sin and death which worketh a corruptible crown.

Untitled

In short, salvation is redemption from sin through the blood of Christ and deliverance into the kingdom of God. What does the Word of God say?

The Bible says, “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness(justification), and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son(final deliverance, glorification): In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.”(Colossians 1: 13-14).

In other words, Christ has made a way of escape for each and everyone of us. He has come to set us free from the bondage of satan who had been working in us a corruptible seed, but because Christ is delivering us from our sins we can become a new creature in God unto obedience. Galatians 6:15.

Let us read2 Corinthians 1:10“Who delivered us from so great a death(justification), and doth deliver(sanctification): in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us; (glorification)

Christ has delivered us from sin at the cross. That is when we were justified. At that time we were assured that it is possible that sin can be overcome. Then Christ is still delivering us, protecting us from the enemy if we continue to walk in Him. This stage is the sanctification state that we all should be found. Christ then will yet to deliver us. This is future. This is when we are found worthy to be in heaven. This is when we all be glorified. Christ will deliver us if we allow Him to. Trust in Him. My tougue cannot speak, my pen cannot portray, the mind of people can not comprehend this full significance of what Christ has done. I can speak to you all day about this topic and never have it completed, or accomplished the way it will be explained in heaven. There is more than a life time of understanding in the plan of salvation, the sacrifice of Christ and many other things that are written in the Word of God.

Next, why are we to guard our minds and put on the helmet of salvation?

Because there are battles to win against our enemies who cultivate faults of character and disposition even in the house of God. Satan is waiting for every chance he can get to divert the human mind from the thoughts of God. We must guard our minds against this adversary of our souls being saved from the grips of HELL!

Moving on to the next armour, What is the sword of the Spirit? What is the role of the sword in the warrior’s life in the battlefield?

The sword is the warrior’s main way of attack. It can be a two-edged sword that can hit the enemy on both sides. The pointed end of the sword can pierce through anything even a heavy metal.

So what is the sword of the Spirit?

Ephesians 6:17  “…the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

Straight and to the point! It is the WORD OF GOD! It will cut through the lies of satan and destroy our enemies that chose not to repent and turn to the love of the truth. The writings of truth will bring truth to the tongue and it will bring glory to God and a sword to penetrate the lies of satan. This can proceedeth out of our mouth if we would allow God to sharpen them. Just read the Word of God and sharpen the sword of the Spirit to be that perfect servant which will reflect Christ.

What is the purpose of the word of God?

Psalms 119:105 “Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

The Word of God is a lamp in our feet and light to our path in this dark wicked world. Imagine yourself walking in the dark with no light to lighten your way. You might end up in a ditch and hurt yourself but if we have a light to brighten our path then we know which path we are walking and we will know if the path is safe or not.

John 17:17 “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

The Word of God is for sanctification. It works sanctification only if we apply them into our lives. But if we ignore them, it won’t and cannot sanctify us.

So what is the relationship of sword to the word of God? How are the two compared?

Hebrews 4:12  “For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

As we can see, the word of God is even sharper than the two-edged sword. It can pierce through the dividing asunder of the soul and spirit. The literal sword cannot do that for us. The word of God can penetrate through the joints and the marrow of our soul. It can discern the thoughts and the intentions of our hearts. If you have the word of God, even if you are worldly uneducated, you can become an effective warrior of God. We can cut through any of the enemy’s defenses. You can expose their lies and uncover the truth. You don’t need to be a degree holder to do this. Fishermen disciples were able to become victorious warrior because they had the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. Some went to prison, some were stoned to death, others suffered extreme persecution but nothing of these things weakened them because the sword of the Spirit is deeply rooted in their hearts. They are ready to die for it.

And the two last important parts of the warrior’s armor is the watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

A good and effective warrior is a watchfuland persevering warrior. If he slumbers for a moment the enemy could take him and kill him. A warrior doesn’t join a battle and then when he sees things are difficult he will back off and go home. No, this is not a valiant warrior. This is cowardliness. This is not a fighting for victory. A good warrior is to be a persevering one. Even when he is bloody he will continue to fight and fight all that he can. This is the same thing with our spiritual life. We are warned…

Matthew 26:41 “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation:”

Mark 13:33 “Take ye heed, watch and pray:”

Luke 21:36 “Watch ye therefore, and pray always,”

Paul said about being persevering in this spiritual battle that we are in,

1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

After we fight, eternal life will be ours. And only those who endure the fight will get it.

Matthew 24:13 “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

It doesn’t say those who give up will be saved. It clearly says those that endure. We must endure brethren no matter how bloody we are in this battle we are in. The more bloody we are the more strong we should become. This is true perseverance. Don’t quit. We are just all being tested.

1 Peter 1:7 “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:”

Romans 8:18 “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”

We have a sure promise that if we endure this fight, we will receive the glory, the crown, the eternal life.

What about supplication for all saints? What does supplication mean? What does God associate supplication with?

Ephesians 6:18 “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”

God associates supplication with prayer. Prayer is very important. It  is part of the armour that we have to carry into the battlefield. We need not miss this armour because without prayer we will lose our connection with the Source of our power.

Brethren, God sets everything that we needed to overcome and be victorious in this battle. We have to carry every armour brethren. Don’t forget any armour. The word of God says put on the WHOLE armour of God. It doesn’t say put on one piece of armour and you will be fine. No, the word is clear. We need the WHOLE armour of God. It has to be the armour of God, not our own devised armour. This self-created armour won’t work. No way will it work.

So I pray that everyone is being blessed by what you have heard this Sabbath day. Let us all put on the whole armour of God so that we can fight and defeat the devil. Remember our war is soon to end but as much as it’s soon to end the more its getting tough and those who endure till the end will be saved. Matthew 24:13.

Peace unto all…

A Soldier for God

2695

What is a soldier (warrior)?

If you take a look at the free dictionary online you will see that it says,

  1. One who is engaged in or experienced in battle.
  2. One who is engaged aggressively or energetically in an activity, cause, or conflict:

So a warrior is one who is experienced and one who is aggressively, energetically, active in battle or the conflict.

As children of God, contending for the truth, fighting to overcome sin, subduing Satan’s temptation by warring against the flesh and coming to the fullness of Christ in His righteousness that we are to partake in as He has left us an example. 1 Peter 2:21. How do we do this? Do we go into battle with nothing? With no armor? Or do we engage fully armored from head to toe? What are we suppose to do? What does the Word of God have to say about all this?

Ephesians 6:11-12 “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Brother’s and Sister’s we are to put on the whole armour of God so that we can stand against Satan because as children of God we are warring against not flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness in high places.

What is this armor that we are to put on?

Ephesians 6:13-19 “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;  And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.”

  1. have our loins girt about with truth
  2. put on the breastplate of righteousness
  3. your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace
  4. Above all, taking the shield of faith
  5. take the helmet of salvation
  6. have the sword of the Spirit
  7. watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints

Why are we having to have our loins girt with the truth? What is the significance of the loins? What does the girting of the loins mean?

I personally am not too familiar with this term but it caught my interest when I found out what the loins are all about. What part of the body is consists of the loins? According to dictionary.com, the loins are the parts of the body between the hips and the lower ribs, especially regarded as the seat of physical strength and generative power. This are the parts of the body that give us support when we sit down and stand up, move around and such. If our loins are destroyed then our mobility is going to be impaired. When we say girting the loins it means putting on a belt on the hips. This belt is one of the pieces of armor that a warrior uses. This is where he hangs his sword when he is not using it.

In our spiritual health, our loins must be girded with the truth. The truth is our shield against the enemy. This truth is the Word of God

John 17:17 “…thy Word is truth.”

We are to have our loins girt with the truth because the world is full of many false prophets which are now deceiving the world. Satan has come down to this world with great wrath against the children of God, against those seeking citizenship in the New Jerusalem, against those who are thirsting for righteousness, against those who are hungering for the bread of life and against those who are striving for the tree of life which we can all partake in if we do the will of GOD by obeying His law as doers and keeping the faith of Jesus. Study the Word of GOD and girt yourself with all His truth in all the knowledge that has been given to us to prepare us for battle that we are in and facing in the soon pending conflict. This is having our loins girt about with truth. If we fail to do this, we will not obtain strength and power that we needed in order to win this battle.

How about covering yourself with the breastplate of righteousness? What is the function of a breastplate as an armor that a soldier uses? What is righteousness?

A breastplate is the main part of a soldier’s armor. This protects the warrior’s torso where you can find the heart, lungs, and other vital organs. If a warrior has no breastplate then he is asking for trouble. Any dart could hit his heart and he is dead.

What about righteousness?

Philippians 1:9-11 “This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; that ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ; being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.”

Righteousness is bearing the fruit of Christ, being filled with the fruits of God, doing the things of the Spirit. What are the fruits of Christ or the Spirit that will work righteousness in us?

Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

So why did God associate breastplate with righteousness? Because…

The breastplate of the righteousness of God delivers us from death, Proverbs 11:4 “…righteousness delivers from death.”

God is watching you with such loving tender care and sympathy, ready to hear your prayers. He is ready to render you all the help which you will need in your life work. Remember, Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, faith, and charity are the fruits of the Christian character. The precious graces are the fruits of Spirit. It is the Christian crown and shield.

This is clearly putting on the breastplate of Righteousness. 1 John 4:16 Righteousness is holiness, likeness to God, and God is love. It is conformity to the law of God, for “all thy commandments are righteousness” (Psalm 119:172), and “love is the fulfilling of the law” (Romans 13:10).  Obedience leads to righteousness (“Romans 6:16) and Deuteronomy 6:25 “And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us.”

We can receive righteousness by receiving Him. We all know that God is love and if we are of God we will do the Fathers will and His commandments that work the fruits of love/righteousness. This is who Christ is. This is His character that is found in the law which should be found in us if we are putting on the armor of God and fulfilling the law. It is a joy to do good, it is a joy to love others by not committing adultery against your husband or wife, it is good to not lie by bear false witness against your neighbor, it is good not to covet your neighbors belongings, kill, steal or dishonor your parents, nor is it good to worship other gods, make graven images, bow before them and breaking the seventh day Sabbath. Breaking the law of God is not putting on the breastplate of Righteousness, but it is putting away the breastplate of righteousness and putting on the armor of Satan which worketh sin, hell and death. Putting on the breastplate of Righteousness is keeping the law of God. This is putting on the breastplate of righteousness and remember if we do this, we are delivered from death.

One more thing, God put on the breastplate of righteousness. We can read in Isaiah 59:17 “For he put on righteousness as a breastplate,..” He is our example that we may follow Him.

How about putting on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace? What is the  preparation of the gospel of peace? What is the importance of putting on something on our feet?

If you are going to engage in a battle and you have all other armor except for a footwear then something is missing here. How can you endure the heat of the dessert if the battle is in the dessert? What if the ground is stony? How can you run comfortably? Therefore a footwear is needed for the warrior of God. This footwear is going to help us run freely, safely and confidently while putting our focus towards the battle that’s going on. So what is this footwear that we need? It is the gospel of peace.

What is the gospel?

Mark 1:1 “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;”

Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached…”

Acts 20:24 ‘…the gospel of the grace of God.”

So this is what the gospel is about. It’s about Jesus Christ, His kingdom, His grace. This is what we have to put on.

Putting on the gospel (the Good News) is receiving it, walking in it, reflecting it and preaching it to your neighbors. Put on the gospel of peace because if you don’t how are going to preach the truth. Your feet are to be clothed with the preparation of the gospel of peace, which will prepare you to walk from place to place, house to house, carrying the truth to all the people around. There will be times when you will find that difficulties will arise and you may seem to think that you can’t do this work, or working for the Lord in His vineyard, but if you press forward in faith, our Lord will go before you, and His light will be a Lamp to your feet which will guide your path.  As you enter into many different places and present the truth to the lost you must know that you are not alone, heaven is with you.  The angels are accompanying you. You will also have the precious gift of the Holy Spirit guiding you and influencing you. Be of great cheer with these companions. It may be very difficult to know or see that they are around, but by faith we can know that they are with each and everyone of us that are working for the Lord and doing His will to the best of our ability.

So again, an important thing to remember here is that the  preparation of the gospel of peace is how we are to be prepared to walk from place to place carrying the truth of the Lord, the WORD OF GOD in it’s fulness and to do it with the best of our ability. We have to prepare to do this because the enemy is seeking you out like a lion ready to devour you. Don’t be afraid though. Fight! If you go in truth and in Spirit, putting on the whole armour of God, securing yourself by putting on the gospel of peace, present the truth as it is and reaching people where they are, you will have the shining of heavenly light before your feet as a pathway set before you to enter in the homes of the world, teaching them to observe all things. The enemy will not be able to stand against you because you came as a warrior fully armed with the presence of GOD, the Good news of truth that is found in the Word of GOD that will lead us to home through our Lord and Saviour. Heavenly Angels will meet you in this battle to help you as they did with Joshua when they took Jericho.

Biblical Fact:

If you take a look in the book of Joshua Chapter 5:13-15 you will see how he went forth to destroy Jericho and there appeared before him a warrior fully equipped for the battle as we are all to be. And what did Joshua ask this valiant warrior that was well equipped for battle, verse 13 of the 5th chapter says, “[Art] thou for us, or for our adversaries?” And this great warrior answered in verse 14 of Joshua chapter 5, “As Captain of the host of the Lord am I now come.” This warrior was the captain of the host of the Lord. The heavenly trained angels of the Lord came to help the children of God take Jericho by storm. Jericho was destroyed and if Joshua’s eyes would have been open in faith, he would have seen the angels of the Lord camped around Israel for there help and protection. Jericho fell and not one human hand did touch the walls of the city. It was the angels of the Lord who did it, though the children of God had their part to act in putting their faith in God and the Captain of the Lord’s Host that came fully equipped for battle.

So it was with us all. We do not fight in this battle alone. We go to places fully equipped with the armor of God/the gospel of peace. We go in faith to help the lost, to beat back the enemy from clouding the lies around the human race. We need to understand that we have an army of heavenly angels at our side that are sent by our commander and chief in Heaven to help us defeat the enemy. Just as they defeated Jericho, you can defeat the enemy. The angels of the Lord will stand the test with us in our battles if we allow them to and we will go forth conquering, fully armed with faith and the gospel of peace. This is putting on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace that goes forth bringing the light to the lost world with the Word of God.

Strength For Today

223

Deuteronomy 33:25 – As thy days, so shall thy strength be.

The promise that comes from our Lord is not that we will have strength today for a future emergency, but it is for the day which we are in, and we should not anticipate any future troubles beforehand. We may, if we walk by faith, expect strength and provision for the day as our circumstances demand it. As Christians, we live by faith, not by sight.

Hebrews 11:1 – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

The Lord’s arrangement is for us to ask Him for the very things that we need.

Matthew 7:7, 8 – Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

The grace for tomorrow will not be given today. A wonderful thing to understand as well, is to see and understand how everyone’s necessity is God’s opportunity to work and to see His hand move, which he desires for all to experience. The grace of God is never given to just be squandered away, to be misapplied or perverted by those receiving it, or to be left to rust away. We must do His will.

While we are bearing daily responsibilities in the love and fear of God, as obedient children walking in all humility of mind, strength and the wisdom that comes from God, it will be given to meet every trying circumstance in our lives which will help us overcome.

We are to keep close to the Source of our strength, which is found in Jesus, day by day we need to do this, and when the enemy comes in like a flood to try and destroy us, the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard for us against the enemy of souls and shuts Him down with our desires to meet with Christ and resist the temptations.

James 4:7 – Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

The promise of God is sure for all of us that would take hold of it, that strength shall be proportioned to our day. His grace will suffice. We may be confident for the future only in the strength that is given for the present necessities for the day….Do not borrow anxiety, stress and negative emotions for the future. It is today that we are in need to give focus to. Let us not add that which does not need to be added.

Many are weighed down by the anticipation of future troubles, which is their own choosing. They are constantly seeking to bring tomorrow’s burdens into today, which is all designed by the enemy of souls to harm our temples. Unnecessary troubles cause the body to wear down. Most don’t realize that many of our supposed troubles are a large portion imaginary and don’t even exist. For this, Christ has made no provision. He promises grace only for the day. He tells us not to burden ourselves with the cares and troubles of tomorrow.

Matthew 6:34 – Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.

The Lord requires us to perform the duties for the day and to endure its trials. Today we are to watch and see to it that we offend not in word or in deed. We must today praise and honor God because we don’t know what tomorrow brings. By the exercise of living faith today we are to conquer the enemy through the power of God. We must today seek God and be determined that we will not rest satisfied without His presence.

We should watch and work and pray as though this was the last day that would be granted to work for our Saviour. We should try to always remember that! Oh, how intensely earnest, then, would be our life. How closely would we follow Jesus in all our words and deeds? Let us remember to Love as Christ has taught us to love and do it as if we will be gone tomorrow. Peace be unto all…

Disciplining the Mind

Mind

1 Chronicles 29:12 – In thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

The mind is so connected to the entire body that it must be occupied with good thoughts or we will surely suffer and become corrupt. We must always walk in the Spirit and remove our thoughts from the flesh, which is the temptations of the world that would draw us away from Christ. The flesh loves to sin against God so to please the flesh and not the Spirit who is after the things of God.

Romans 8:5-6 – For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace. Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

The mind is a battle field where the powers of darkness are constantly trying to gain victory over the mind, which will prepare the way for the heart to become corrupt; and then the fruits of darkness will be seen through the lives of those who are yielding to those wicked powers. We must learn to set our affections on the things of God and not on the things of the earth that appeal to the flesh, which separates us from our Creator.

Colossians 3:2 – Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Man has the power to regulate and control the workings of the mind, and give direction to the current of his thoughts. But this requires greater effort than we can make in our own strength. We must stay our minds on God, if we would have right thoughts and proper subjects for meditation. Our minds must become holy unto the Lord if we would expect to be holy for the Lord. This is our reasonable service to give our lives and our temples to the service of God.

Romans 12:1 – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.

Very few realize that it is a duty to exercise control over our thoughts and imaginations.

2 Corinthians 10:5 – Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

It many of us striving commandment keeping children know and understand, we can see how it is very difficult in these last days to keep the undisciplined mind fixed upon profitable subjects with all the temptations in the world, but we must, especially in a world that is full of sickness and diseases that weaken the body even more. We can see how many things in this world are besetting the lives of billions today, but regardless of all that is going on in the world, we must fight and strive and contend for victory.

Jude 1:3– Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort [you] that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

We must meet the enemy head on through the power of God and control our thoughts by daily reading His Word and fixing our thoughts on Christ. In doing so, a peace within every soul will be accomplished in a fallen world.

Isaiah 26:3 – Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee.

If the thoughts are not properly employed, if we do not do all we can to fight, then the true religion of Christ cannot flourish in the soul. The mind must be preoccupied with sacred and eternal things as much as possible, or it will cherish things that do not belong in the minds of Christians. Both the intellectual and the moral powers must be disciplined to the will of God, and by doing so; they will strengthen and improve the mind each and every day with continual exercise, which will establish us and settle us in the truth.

1 Peter 5:10 – But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle [you].

To understand all the right things that we must do to settle ourselves in the Spirit of God through His Written truths, we must remember that our hearts are naturally depraved due to us living in fallen flesh, and so, we are unable, of ourselves, to pursue a right course when God is not abiding. It is only by the grace of God, combined with the most earnest efforts on our part, that we can gain the victory over the powers of this dark world.

The intellect, as well as the heart, must be consecrated to the service of God throughout our entire lives or we will surely fall into the hands of the enemy of souls and be destroyed. The world today is a visible evidence of what happens when we stray from God and reject Him. We must make our calling and election sure and be established in the present truth.

2 Peter 1:10-12 – Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know [them], and be established in the present truth.

If we are going to engage in the pleasure-seeking life of flesh, lack of caring and seriousness, along with mental and moral dissipation, which are flooding the world with their demoralizing influence and thus, we see what this world has become, we will depart from Christianity and make our bed with the enemy of souls. If we are not going to make our election sure and continue to follow after the ways of the world and abide with the character of the world, we shall surely sink and drown in the sea of separation from God where the world loves to swim. The world loving souls in the world today are clearly drained of anything good; they cannot understand the simple things of God. Every Christian should labor to press back the tides of evil and take the hand of God and walk with Him. We must daily be in the Word of God and applying all that we learn and through prayer we can overcome this world as Christ did. We must fulfill the path of the Sanctuary of the Lord or we shall surely be swept away by the evil influences that present to us every avenue that would corrupt our life.

Without the power of God’s grace and Spirit we cannot reach the high standard Christ has placed before us. Truly, there is a divine excellence of character that we are to gain through our daily battles and overcoming them in the classroom of the world, which will prepare us for the world to come. We must strive onward as Christian soldier and be ye perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 5:48 – Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

We must strive to attain the standard of heaven if we expect to be citizens of that kingdom. We are without excuse in this sinful world where we have much help from heaven to overcome. There are divine incentives which will urge us on to victory, which they will help the mind become well balanced in all things, and the restlessness of the soul will be banished; we will instead have tranquility in Christ. Let us have the mind of Christ.

Philippians 2:5 – Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.

Finally my brethren in the Lord…

1 Peter 1:13 – Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Peace…

Mastering Self

free-indeed

Proverbs 16:32 – He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

The highest evidence that one can show that they are a true Christian is bearing the fruit of self-control. Those who can stand unmoved amidst the storms of temptations are one of God’s heroes. To govern our spirit is to keep self under strict discipline to the principles of our Lord and Saviour; to resist evil; to regulate every word and deed by God’s great standard of righteousness, which is found in only those who are after the Spirit and not the flesh.

Romans 8:3-8 – For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.  Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

He who has learned to rule his spirit through the power of God, it is they who will rise above the insults of others, the rejects we receive in the world, the annoyances that come from every direction, the temptations that surround every living saint of God, to which we are daily exposed to, and these will cease to cast a gloom over his spirit, but will rather find peace and joy amidst the test that surround every Christ.

The human machinery, the temple body, it is a most important medium through which the mind, the heart and the soul are developed for the up building of Christian character. The adversary of souls “Satan”, it is he and his temptations that stand before all, it is he that is causing the world, the weak ones to walk away from God by yielding to whatever Satan is offering. The physical powers of those living in the world today are clearly showing and displaying the signs of death.  The world is clearly sinking deeper into corruption as they pass into the field the sin loving pleasures of the world that works in those the character of rebellion.

The world has gone so far astray from the will of God that they cannot see clearly what they have become through their sinful and rebellious ways. The sins of the world are filling up the cup of God’s wrath. Soon it will reach unto heaven and God will remember their iniquities. God will not strive with men much longer.

Genesis 6:3 – And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man…

The day will come when the probation on the world will close and all will be judged according to their works.

Revelation 20:12 – And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Every individual must work out their own salvation with fear and trembling.

Philippians 2:12 – work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

We must all fight to overcome the world and reform from our sinful lives and prepare for the Lord’s arrival. We must allow Christ to fill our lives with His righteousness and change our filthy garments. We must be brought into subjection to the higher powers of the being so to have the seal of approval for God. If the Spirit of God is abiding in our lives, we shall overcome the world and show through our works in establishing the righteousness of Christ, who did no sin (1 Peter 2:22), that we are overcomers who are walking as Christ walked (1 John 2:6) and overcame (John 16:33).

1 John 2:6 – He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

1 Peter 2:22 – Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

John 16:33 – In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

While we are walking through valley of the shadow of death where these evil temptations are set before us to be a stumbling block, where these evil agencies continue to prepare snares for all seeking to enter into heaven, we must remember the works of CHRIST and do all we can to depart from evil, or the works of evil, the principles of Satan will show that he is gaining victory over every soul that is constantly yielding to his delusions. Satan’s character will be seen in the lives of those that allow themselves to behold him daily. He will set up his hellish banner in the lives of those who allow him and make no effort to fight back. Satan’s purpose is to establish his throne of rebellion in our lives. We Christians must fight the good fight of faith if we expect to lay hold of eternal life. We must govern passions. We must have self control. We must die daily from self and give to Christ all our mind, heart and soul.

Mark 12:30 – And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.

John 14:15 – If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Matthew 19:17 – if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

1 John 2:3-4 – And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

2 John 1:6 – And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

Satan is the father of sin and he does not want us to walk in the path of righteousness. Those who are walking on the path of christian character and walking on the path of obedience to the laws of God will prove that Christ is writing His laws in our minds and hearts.

Hebrews 10:16-17 – This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Satan loves to see sin build up in our lives because he knows that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), but when we choose to not yield to the temptations and fall not into sin, then it is visible evidence to those around us that the gift of God [is] abiding in our life and that the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord will be our reward. When we decide to be men and women who desire the heart of God, Christians who are after God’s heart, our fruits will display kindness towards others, unbelievable love that the world has never seen, which will bring peace to our very lives and good health where we will prosper as the sons and daughters of God, having all the intellectual powers that will sustain our desires to the very end to please God supremely and not self. Our physical stamina will bear the marks of our heavenly King, which it is HE that is standing before us in a sinful world who is giving us the power to conquer because those who understand Scripture realize we can do nothing apart from God. We cannot be overcomers unless the powers of heaven are residing in our lives.

John 15:5 – for without me ye can do nothing.

The length of life surely depends upon our obedience to God. We will either be blessed for obeying Him or cursed if we do not obey Him (Deuteronomy 11:26-27). We cannot serve sin and be blessed of the Lord. If we are dead to sin, then we are crucified with Christ.

Romans 6:6-7 – Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Through our obedience to God’s laws, a Christian will be perfectly furnished with good works and will stand as a conqueror of himself under His mighty King of kings. We must be conquerors of our own inclinations, conquerors over bad principalities and conquerors against the powers of this world “the rulers of the darkness of this world,” and of “spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).

The same spirit which had abide with the sons and daughters of God throughout this world’s history can abide with all who desire to be the sons and daughters of God today. Till this day, God is still striving with mankind and is calling all to repentance. He is the Same yesterday, today and tomorrow. God does not change (Malachi 3:6 – For I [am] the LORD, I change not…). He still continues to wink at our times of ignorance (Acts 17:30), but commands all to repent during His hour of grace and mercy.  It is not His desire that any of us should miss out on eternal life. God wants us to be healed from sin and cry-out to Him for deliverance. He wants to set us free from the bondage of sin where Satan has the world captive. Christ is ready to heal all our backsliding and have mercy on our unrighteous works towards the law of God.

Hosea14:4 – I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.

Hebrews 8:12 – For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Isaiah 1:18-20 – Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it].

Peace…

The Purification

Purification

Psalms 34:19 – Many [are] the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

Many in the world who are striving to walk the narrow road to life are going through exactly what Christ said would happen if they are seeking to enter into life. All must suffer with Christ.

2 Timothy 3:12 – Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

If we have been chosen by God, then all must go through the fire and be burned.

Isaiah 48:10 – Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

We are also given a bitter cup to drink from, which many, even after knowing the truth, who walk in the truth and who have tasted of the rich blessings of heaven are encountering this bitter cup of the Lord. Many have found it to be too difficult, but it is not if we trust perfectly in God.  Many have entered into this covenant with the Lord and did not understand or know of the Lord’s bitter cup that He Himself drank from more than all.

Matthew 20:22 -Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

It is a fact that Christ has given His people a bitter cup to drink, to purify and cleanse them. And until the work of cleansing has been accomplished, the bitter cup will remain. It is a bitter cup indeed, and the followers of Christ can make it still more bitter by murmuring, complaining, and repining. But those who receive it thus must have another draught, for the first does not have its designed effect upon the heart. And if the second does not affect the work that is to be accomplished in the life of the professor, then they must have another, and another, and another cup to drink until it does have its designed effect, or they will be left filthy, impure in heart and full of corruption. This bitter cup can be sweetened by patience, endurance, and prayer, which is a fruit the Spirit of God is abiding and that it will have its designed effect upon the hearts of those who thus receive it and bear the fruits of Christ, and thus, God will be honored and glorified.

It is no small thing to be a Christian and to be owned and approved of God. If we are walking with Christ, we must bear the cross.

Luke  9:23 – And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Many claim they love God and His people, but then when affliction comes, and prosperity decreases for a season, so many is then nowhere to be found. Surely, prosperity increases the church with professors, but when the church passes through the fire of affliction they cannot stand the heat and they depart. Those who are strong in the Lord will endure His fire of affliction and the bitter cup.

The wheat, tares and chaff will be revealed more fully as time draws closer to the greatest test known to man. The threshing floor is soon to see who will pass into heavens gates and it is about to become more intense.  It is true that many have the standard of piety altogether too low, and they come far short of Bible holiness and character.

Many are engage in vain and unbecoming conversation with those of the world, and others give way to the risings of self and the pleasures and comforts of the world where they put their trust in, which will prove to be a snare in the end. We have a great time of trouble that stands before all living in the last days and we have not a moment to spare preparing for a lovely life of freedom from the bitter cup that was given to the Lord’s people. Those who profess the truth may hide from this bitter cup for a season, or try to ignore it, but if those who are seeking to live in eternity then they will drink and walk through the fire of affliction.

We must be partakers of Christ’s sufferings here in this life if we would share in His glory hereafter. If we seek our own interest, or own selfish gain and for those of our own house hold, turning away from those that are to be eternal family, and think how we can best please ourselves, instead of seeking to please God and advance His precious, suffering cause, we shall dishonor God and the holy cause we profess to love so much. Many can love Christ when it is the easy go time, but when affliction comes, many go off offending, backbiting, blaming others, finger pointing, accusing, recalling things that have no weight in a Christians life. The fruits of darkness are seen visible in the works of those who engage in such things.

Those who hold fast their faith unto the end will come forth from the furnace of trial as fine gold seven times purified. Of this work the prophet Isaiah says…

Isaiah 13:12 – I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

When in trouble, remember that faith tried in the furnace of affliction is more precious than gold tried with fire. Remember that there is One watching every movement, to see when the last particle of dross is taken away from our character. Christ work must be accomplished in us. We must be changed and purified through the love of affliction. We are running out of time. The stage has been set for the end times work to be accomplished before Christ comes and we have to see to it that we are standing today and not wavering, or we are proving that we will wavier in the end. Now is the day to fight harder and not draw back from the battle. Stand up and endure.

We have but a little space of time left in which to work for God and the lost souls before the Mark of the Beast is enforced. Time is running out and the doors to eternal life are soon to close, where all cases have been decided. Nothing should be too dear to sacrifice for the salvation of the scattered and torn flock of Jesus that we are to labor for and help to the utmost. Truly, those who make a covenant with God by sacrifice now, they will soon be gathered home to share a rich reward and possess the new kingdom forever and ever because they allowed the bitter cup to serve its purpose; they are before God without spot or wrinkle.

Ephesians  5:27 – That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Peace…
